Omio Mahbub, Research Assistant

Omio Mahbub is an M.A. student in Criminal Justice at John Jay College whose interests center on corrections, reentry, and institutional accountability. He is an accredited mediator with with 4+ years of legal and policy experience in Bangladesh, he brings strengths in legal research, case law analysis, memo writing, and policy-oriented documentation. He is motivated by comparative, evidence-based approaches to improving custodial conditions and post-release outcomes in resource-constrained systems.
