Emma Yoon, Research Intern
Emma Yoon is a high school student at Bergen County Technical High School with an interest in criminal justice reform and social advocacy. Her research focuses on the intersection of financial accountability and criminal justice, examining topics such as prison privatization and the economic impact of monetary sanctions on families. She has conducted both independent and mentored research exploring systemic issues within the criminal justice system. In addition to her academic work, she serves as a rehabilitation counselor with Restore Justice, supporting incarcerated individuals preparing for reentry.
