Nathaniel Galen, Doctoral Student
Nate Galen is a current Ph.D. student at John Jay College. He is originally from Michigan, where he discovered his passion for the field of criminology at Michigan State University. His research interests within the field of corrections focus on critical aspects of reentry, rehabilitation, and restorative justice. The work he is involved in aims to bridge the gaps between theory, policy, and practice. In addition to his academic work, he is dedicated to enhancing student learning and exploring innovative methods of classroom engagement.
