Julie Garman, Ph.D., Postdoctoral Fellow

Julie Garman, Ph.D. is a postdoctoral fellow at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She completed her doctorate in Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Nebraska Omaha. Her research interests include special populations and program and policy evaluations, primarily in the area of correctional treatment. Julie’s work has been published in a variety of journals, including Deviant Behavior and American Journal of Criminal Justice. As a postdoctoral fellow for John Jay, Julie works primarily with Dr. Debi Koetzle on the Opening the Black Box of Treatment in Drug Court Settings: Treatment, Risk Assessment, and Quality (DC-TRAQ) project.
