Isabel Shuchi Khan, Research Assistant

Isabel Shuchi Khan is an M.A. student in Criminal Justice at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Her interest in corrections is shaped by her experience working in the legal field in Bangladesh, where she supported clients and casework within a justice system facing significant resource and capacity challenges. She is especially interested in prison conditions, reentry, and institutional accountability, and in identifying practical, evidence-based ways to improve fairness, safety, and rehabilitation outcomes; particularly in Bangladesh and comparable contexts.
