Elia Solano-Patricio

Elia Solano-Patricio earned a B.Sc. in urban studies and minored in criminal justice at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where she also completed the Brookings Minor in Public Policy. Elia has been a research associate at Brookings Mountain West and The Lincy Institute, a think tank collaboration with The Brookings Institution where she authored and co-authored over two dozen publications in criminal justice, economic development, public health, and more. Elia's research is policy-oriented, and focuses on impact assessments, investigating the effectiveness and implications of policies in corrections, crime prevention, and victim rights.
