Irina Fanarraga, PhD
Irina Fanarraga received her PhD in the Criminal Justice at John Jay College / The Graduate Center and is a Post-Doctoral Fellow with The Corrections Lab. She double majored in Criminology and Psychology at Hofstra University, and she received her MA in Criminology and Justice from St. John’s University. Her research interests include risk assessment, intimate partner violence, diversion and alternatives to incarceration, and corrections. Previously, Irina worked as a Community Liaison for the Diversion Department at Midtown Community Court. She has also secured research fellowships at the Center for Justice Innovation and the Kings County District Attorney’s Office.
